#10 Silver Club
You must be 35 years old to enter. If you are 35 to 39 years old you have to rope with someone that is 40 years or older. (This keeps two 35 year olds that are a little under rated from taking the fun out of this roping). This roping has a #6 cap. When you enter the Silver Club you don’t have to worry about the young Guns that just got turned loose. The Silver Club is set as the 1st roping of the day. You can come out, rope and get back home for a late lunch or stay and win a little more.
#11 Roping
The numbering system we use (USTRC) will fit anyone who wants to rope to win. There is no Cap on this roping. The largest number of ropers in the USTRC system is the #5 Ropers followed by #4 Ropers and then the # 6 Ropers. The fees for this roping are 3 head for $40 per Team P/A 1 with an 8X entry limit. The young guns have their shot at winning a nice paycheck and the newcomers or the old folks have a chance because the #7 and up ropers have to rope with you.
#10 Roping
This roping has no cap and is probably the most even of all of the ropings. The #10 roping is not produced at every TR-USA event. We have it at our Kickoff Roping, as well as the ropings in Kinder, Louisiana and at the Team Roping USA Finals. The fees for this roping are 3 head for $40 per Team P/A 1 with an 8X entry limit. This is a popular roping because the #5 ropers are the majority in team roping.
#9 Roping
This is a lower numbered roping with no cap. Why no cap? We feel that a true #3 roper should be able to get a better run just as the upper #4 roper finds the better #5 ropers. This gives everyone a better chance to make a qualified run. Just remember catch your cattle and it will take you to the pay window. The fees for this roping are 3 head for $40 per Team P/A 1 with an 8X entry limit.
#8 Pick/Draw
The #8 Pick/Draw has a #4 cap. The Draw pot roping is designed for the beginner roper who is just getting into the sport of team roping. But here is a hint to the #4 Ropers who could or should be #5’s. Don’t get greedy. Stay where you belong. In this roping you can pick 1/Draw 3 or draw all 4 for $80 with a 2X entry limit. This roping is capped at#4.

We felt that there was a need for affordable Team Ropings that would start on time and be run by a set of rules to benefit the ropers and their families. With the input from many of you, the ropers, TR-USA has set a format that we feel can and will be profitable to the roper as well as your family. When you started playing this game it was fun.
